How we comply
We handle personal information in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and its Executive Regulations.
What data we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including when you submit a form on our website or contact us through social media. This may include your name, phone number, email address, and treatment interests. For clinic patients, we also collect health and treatment information needed to provide dental care.
How we use your data
We use your information to respond to enquiries, book and manage appointments, provide dental treatment, keep accurate records as required by law, and follow up about care. We process your information based on your consent, the need to provide services you request, and our legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
Advertising platforms
When you contact a clinic through an advertisement, the advertising platform (such as Meta/Facebook/Instagram) may share limited information with us so we can respond to you and measure campaign performance. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own privacy policies.
Third party services
We use trusted service providers to operate our platform, including Supabase for secure data storage with servers in UAE and EU regions. These providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations. Upon account closure and written request, data is deleted within 30 days.
Children's privacy
Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your rights
Under UAE data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights contact us at privacy@sana-os.com. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may raise it with the UAE Data Office.
Data breaches
If a breach occurs that may affect your information, we will act to address it and notify the relevant authorities and affected individuals as required under UAE law.
Changes to this policy
We will update the effective date of this policy and notify clinic owners by email when material changes are made. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
